Summer Vacation 2011 Series- Mesa Verde National Park

Our next stop along the way was to Mesa Verde National Park. This is known for the cliff dwellings which were occupied by the Anasazi people approximately between 500 to 1300 A.D. We had a blast touring here and even climbed into a kiva (a Pueblo Indian ceremonial structure that is usually round and partly underground.)
