Summer Vacation 2011 Series- Chapel of the Holy Cross

Tucked away in the beautiful red mesas of Sedona, Arizona is the gorgeous Roman Catholic “Chapel of the Holy Cross.” Out of the brilliant mind and financial backing of sculptor, Marguerite Brunswig Staude, this stunning chapel was completed in 1956.

The chapel is inspirational in bringing you closer to God, but so is the scenery surrounding it. It is an awesome experience and as the sculptor stated, “Though Catholic in faith, as a work of art the Chapel has a universal appeal. Its doors will ever be open to one and all, regardless of creed, that God may come to life in the souls of all men and be a living reality.”

Sincerely yours,
