Sweet Remembrance

On Saturday, I went to a memorial service for an adorable woman who was a member of our church. As they were remembering her life, it fascinated me to hear all of the things she was involved with. She did a lot of volunteer work, helped many in need and most of all, she saw the good in everyone.

This lovely woman gave my daughter her saxophone several months ago, because she wanted it to go to someone who would enjoy playing it as much as she did. My daughter played it during the service. She played “Blessed Assurance” and touched many hearts during the performance. My daughter likes to name her instruments and named this one after her previous, beloved owner.

Thank you for sharing your life with us, Rosie! It was a joy to know you. We will miss you very much.

Sincerely yours,

Sophie Grumble
