Do you have your popcorn and soda ready? We are about to dive into some of the Box Office hits of 1982. Here we go!
Airplane II: The Sequel (Paramount Pictures)- The first one is the best, but this is a wild ride as well. =D
Annie (Columbia Pictures)- The little red head orphan who could! Carol Burnett is fabulous! This classic is still a favorite of mine. =)
An Officer and a Gentleman (Paramount Pictures)- Richard Gere and Debra Winger have amazing chemistry. This is romance at its best!
Blade Runner (Warner Bros. Pictures)- If Harrison Ford is on the screen, I was so at the theater! He could read the phone book and I would go! Big crush on him! This is a good film, by the way. =D
Conan the Barbarian (Universal Pictures)- This image cracked me up! Arnold!!
Creepshow (Warner Bros. Pictures)- If Stephen King wrote it, you know it is going to be eerie good! Ted Danson, Leslie Nielsen and Hal Holbrook make a fantastic cast.
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (Universal Pictures)- This movie made me laugh and cry! I loved it and still do! =)
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Universal Pictures)- A classic 80s teen movie! This is how I will always remember Sean Penn! Spicoli!! =D
First Blood (Orion Pictures)- Sylvester Stallone as Rambo! Awesome!! =D
Gandhi (Columbia Pictures)- This was not my kind of film, but it is considered one of the best movies of 1982. Ben Kingsley portrays Gandhi and won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Which one is the real Gandhi? Amazing resemblance!
Grease 2 (Paramount Pictures)- Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer’s chemistry heat up the screen in this exciting sequel.
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (Warner Bros. Pictures)- This is one of the movies that put Mel Gibson on the map! It is a cool film!
Night Shift (Warner Bros. Pictures)- This comedy has Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton and Shelley Long. Another movie that made me feel I was being naughty watching! Loved it! =D
Pink Floyd – The Wall (MGM)- This is a must see. It is still talked about to this day and it is the ultimate 80s rock ‘n roll film.
